Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Zeno is an AI and automation consultancy based in the United Kingdom. This website is a brochure site: it exists so you can learn what we do and get in touch. Zeno is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@zeno.consulting.
2. Information we collect
We collect two kinds of information through this site:
- Contact form enquiries. When you send us a brief we receive the details you enter: your name, work email, company, and message, plus the optional role, budget range, and meeting availability fields.
- Usage analytics. We use PostHog (EU Cloud, hosted in the European Union) to understand how the site is used — for example which sections are viewed, clicks and general pointer activity (used for heatmaps), and whether the contact form is started. Analytics runs without cookies and without storing identifiers on your device, and session recording is switched off. This site has no user accounts and processes no payments.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your enquiry and follow up on next steps
- Understand which parts of the site are useful
- Keep the site secure and working properly
Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is legitimate interests: responding to enquiries you choose to send us and running a functioning website. We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we will not add you to a marketing list without asking first.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell or trade your personal information. Enquiries and analytics are handled by a small number of service providers acting on our instructions:
- Resend delivers contact form submissions to our inbox as email
- PostHog (EU Cloud) processes usage analytics within the EU on our behalf
- Our hosting provider processes standard server logs needed to serve the site
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
Contact enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle the conversation and any engagement that follows, then deleted. Analytics events are not linked to your name or contact details and we do not use them to identify you; they are retained by PostHog under our retention settings and deleted when no longer needed.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct or update inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict our processing
- Data portability
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@zeno.consulting. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
7. Cookies
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics is configured to run without storing cookies or other identifiers on your device.
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we design for safety and minimise what we collect in the first place.
9. Children's privacy
Our services are aimed at businesses and are not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
